Razel 20 Tablet is used in the treatment of high cholesterol and to reduce the risk of stroke and heart attack. It contains Rosuvastatin, which slows down cholesterol production in the body and decreases the amount of cholesterol that may build up on the arteries walls and block blood flow to brain, heart and other body parts. Thus, it lowers cholesterol and fats levels and helps to prevent stroke, heart disease and heart attack. It may cause side effects such as myalgia (muscle pain), asthenia (lack of energy), nausea, headache, abdominal pain, muscle pain, weakness, and daytime drowsiness. About Razel 20 Tablet

Razel 20 Tablet helps reduce bad cholesterol (low-density lipoprotein, LDL) and triglyceride levels, thereby reducing the risk of heart attack and stroke in the future. When the blood's cholesterol levels are out of balance (unhealthy), it can lead to high cholesterol, sometimes referred to as hyperlipidemia or dyslipidemia. High blood cholesterol causes your arteries to get smaller and become blocked, which ultimately leads to cardiac conditions like heart attacks and strokes.

Razel 20 Tablet contains rosuvastatin, which works by blocking liver enzymes, causing the liver to make less cholesterol. Thus, Razel 20 Tablet lowers the level of cholesterol and triglycerides in the blood when lifestyle changes (like a low-fat diet) on their own have failed. It also improves your body’s ability to remove bad cholesterol from your blood.

Not everyone who is taking Razel 20 Tablet will get these side effects. The possible side effects of Razel 20 Tablet may include myalgia (muscle pain), asthenia (fatigue), nausea, headache, abdominal pain, muscle weakness, and daytime drowsiness. Razel 20 Tablet contains Rosuvastatin, an HMG-CoA reductase inhibitor (statins) which helps lower bad cholesterol.

Few studies indicate that Razel 20 Tablet may increase blood sugar levels because it can stop the body’s insulin from working well. This might increase the risk of developing type 2 diabetes. Inform the doctor if you are diabetic; the doctor might monitor your condition regularly.
