Remwin 100 mg Injection 1's belongs to a group of anti-viral medicines called SARS-CoV-2 nucleotide analogue RNA polymerase inhibitor used to treat coronavirus disease requiring hospitalisation. Coronavirus disease, also known as SARS-CoV-2 (Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Corona Virus 2), is an infectious disease caused by the corona virus.
Remwin 100 mg Injection 1's contains ‘Remdesivir, which binds to the viral-RNA dependant RNA polymerase enzyme, an enzyme that helps the coronavirus to replicate itself. This inhibits viral replication by premature termination of RNA transcription. Thereby, Remwin 100 mg Injection 1's lowers the virus load in the body and helps treat the infection.
Remwin 100 mg Injection 1's will be administered by a healthcare professional in a hospital or a healthcare setting capable of providing in-patient hospital care. In some cases, you may experience certain side effects such as nausea, increased transaminase levels, and increased prothrombin time. You are advised to talk to your doctor if you experience these side effects persistently.

Do not take Remwin 100 mg Injection 1's if you are allergic to any of its contents. Inform your doctor if you have heart, liver or kidney problems. Remwin 100 mg Injection 1's is indicated for use only in patients above 12 years, weighing at least 40kg.
