Roniran Syrup is used to treat gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), erosive esophagitis (inflammation of the oesophagus lining), peptic ulcer disease, and gastritis. It is also used to manage conditions like Zollinger-Ellison syndrome (excessive acid production) in children.
Additionally, it can be used for short-term treatment of heartburn, acid reflux, and indigestion in children, helping relieve discomfort associated with these conditions.
Roniran Syrup contains ranitidine, a histamine-2 (H2) receptor blocker. It reduces stomach acid by blocking the actions of the H2 receptor, which is responsible for gastric acid secretion.
Common side effects of Roniran Syrup may include sleepiness, headache, tiredness, constipation, and diarrhoea. Consult your doctor if any of the side effects persist or worsen.
Avoid using Roniran Syrup if your child is allergic to it. Before starting this medicine, inform your doctor if your child has any other medical conditions or is taking other medications.
