Setspas-R Capsule is used to treat irritable bowel syndrome. It may also be indicated for the treatment of intestinal ulcers, gastric acidity, abdominal pain/cramps, and anxiety. Irritable bowel syndrome is an intestinal disorder that causes uncomfortable abdominal symptoms.

Setspas-R Capsule contains Chlordiazepoxide, Clidinium, Dicyclomine and Rabeprazole. Chlordiazepoxide decreases abnormal activity in the brain. Clidinium and Dicyclomine work by decreasing stomach and intestinal spasms. Rabeprazole reduces stomach acid and relieves acid-related heartburn and indigestion.

Do not take Setspas-R Capsule if you are allergic to its components. Inform the doctor if you have depression, mood disorder, suicidal tendency, alcoholism, drug addiction, liver or kidney disease, difficulty urinating, intestinal blockage, glaucoma, myasthenia gravis, ulcerative colitis, thyroid problems, heart disease, high blood pressure, prostate enlargement, asthma, chronic lung disease, osteoporosis, lupus (autoimmune disease), or low levels of magnesium.
