Setspas-R Capsule is used to treat irritable bowel syndrome. It may also be indicated for the treatment of intestinal ulcers, gastric acidity, abdominal pain/cramps, and anxiety. Irritable bowel syndrome is an intestinal disorder that causes uncomfortable abdominal symptoms.

Setspas-R Capsule contains Chlordiazepoxide, Clidinium, Dicyclomine and Rabeprazole. Chlordiazepoxide decreases abnormal activity in the brain. Clidinium and Dicyclomine work by decreasing stomach and intestinal spasms. Rabeprazole reduces stomach acid and relieves acid-related heartburn and indigestion.

In some cases, you may experience side effects such as dry mouth, flatulence, blurred vision, and drowsiness. These side effects may not require medical attention and resolve gradually over time. However, you are advised to talk to the doctor if the side effects persist or worsen.

Do not take Setspas-R Capsule if you are allergic to its components. Inform the doctor if you have depression, mood disorder, suicidal tendency, alcoholism, drug addiction, liver or kidney disease, difficulty urinating, intestinal blockage, glaucoma, myasthenia gravis, ulcerative colitis, thyroid problems, heart disease, high blood pressure, prostate enlargement, asthma, chronic lung disease, osteoporosis, lupus (autoimmune disease), or low levels of magnesium. Consult the doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Let the doctor know if you take other medicines, including supplements and herbal products.
