Silospurt D8 Tablet is used to treat benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) in adults. The prostate is a small, muscular gland in the male reproductive system. Benign prostatic hyperplasia is a common condition that occurs when the cells of the prostate gland begin to multiply.

Silospurt D8 Tablet is a combination of Silodosin and Dutasteride. This medicine works by blocking the action of alpha-1 receptors, causing smooth muscle relaxation in the bladder and prostate. Dutasteride blocks the action of a 5-alpha reductase enzyme, resulting in a shrinkage of the size of the prostate gland.

In some cases, you may experience certain common side effects such as dizziness, headache, nasal congestion (stuffy nose), and diarrhoea. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. However, talk to your doctor if you experience these side effects persistently.

Take Silospurt D8 Tablet as advised. Your physician will decide the dosage based on your medical condition. You can take Silospurt D8 Tablet with or without food. It is advised not to take more than the recommended dose of Silospurt D8 Tablet . Do not chew, crush, or break the medicine. It is crucial to have your lipid profile checked regularly.

Inform your physician if you are allergic to Silospurt D8 Tablet . Avoid consumption of alcohol as it may increase the side effects like dizziness and low blood pressure. If you take Silospurt D8 Tablet with any antihypertensive medicine, your blood pressure could suddenly drop to a life-threatening level. So, avoid intake of Silospurt D8 Tablet with antihypertensive drugs. Silospurt D8 Tablet is not recommended for use in female population and children.

• Treatment of Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH): Silospurt D8 Tablet helps reduce prostate size by blocking the production of hormones responsible for its growth and also improves urinary flow and reduces symptoms like difficulty urinating, frequent urges, and weak urine stream.
• Relaxation of Bladder and Prostate Muscles: Silospurt D8 Tablet works by relaxing the muscles in the bladder and prostate, making urination easier and helping relieve urinary discomfort associated with an enlarged prostate.
• Prevention of Urinary Blockage: Silospurt D8 Tablet reduces the risk of complete urinary obstruction, which can occur if BPH is left untreated and helps maintain normal urinary function over time.

• Silospurt D8 Tablet can be taken with or without food, as advised by your doctor.
• Follow your doctor's instructions on the dosage and timing of this medication.
• Swallow Silospurt D8 Tablet as a whole with a glass of water.
• Do not crush, chew, or open it.

• Silospurt D8 Tablet is a combination of Silodosin and Dutasteride used to treat the symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) in adults with an enlarged prostate gland.
• Silospurt D8 Tablet causes smooth muscle relaxation in the bladder and prostate, and also causes a shrinkage of the size of the prostate gland.
• It helps to relieve symptoms such as difficulty urinating or the urge to urinate more often and improve your ability to urinate. 

• Do not take Silospurt D8 Tablet if you are allergic to Silospurt D8 Tablet or any other components present in it. To treat your condition effectively, continue taking Silospurt D8 Tablet for as long as your doctor has prescribed it. Try not to stop taking it on your own.
• If you take Silospurt D8 Tablet with any antihypertensive medicine, your blood pressure could suddenly drop to a life-threatening level. So, avoid intake of Silospurt D8 Tablet with antihypertensive drugs.
• Inform your doctor if you have/had a heart attack or stroke or heart failure, low blood pressure, kidney or liver disease, have certain eye diseases, loss of vision due to loss of blood flow to the optic (eye) nerve before taking Silospurt D8 Tablet .
• You are advised not to drive or operate heavy machinery after taking Silospurt D8 Tablet as it may cause dizziness.
• Avoid consuming alcohol along with Silospurt D8 Tablet as it could lead to increased dizziness and drowsiness.
• Older patients may be more sensitive to the side effects of Silospurt D8 Tablet , especially dizziness and low blood pressure when getting up from a sitting or lying position. 
• Silospurt D8 Tablet is intended for male patients only. Therefore, it should not be administered to women and children under 18 years of age.
