About Silvez Plus Cream
Silvez Plus Cream is a combination medication primarily used to treat burns. A burn is an injury to the skin or other tissues primarily caused by heat or due to electricity, radiation, radioactivity, friction or contact with chemicals.
Silvez Plus Cream contains silver sulfadiazine, chlorhexidine gluconate, and lignocaine. Silver sulfadiazine inhibits bacterial growth by blocking folic acid production, ultimately destroying bacteria. Chlorhexidine gluconate kills microorganisms and prevents infection. Lignocaine relieves pain by blocking nerve impulses, stabilizing nerve membranes, and producing numbness.
Silvez Plus Cream is for external use only. In some cases, you may experience irritation, itching, or burning sensation at the site of application. Most of these side effects of Silvez Plus Cream do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.
If you are allergic to any of the components in Silvez Plus Cream, please tell your doctor. If you are pregnant or a nursing mother, please inform your doctor before using Silvez Plus Cream. Do not apply Silvez Plus Cream in large amounts or use it for a longer time than prescribed, as it does not give quick or better results but increases the risk of side effects. Avoid contact of Silvez Plus Cream with clothes or fabric, as it may cause staining.
