Sitcom Forte Tablet is a combination medicine used in the treatment of piles (haemorrhoids). This medicine helps strengthen the walls of tiny blood vessels and prevent leakage and fragility, enhances blood flow by decreasing blood viscosity/thickness, reduces inflammation (redness and swelling) and promotes better healing. About Sitcom Forte Tablet

Sitcom Forte Tablet belongs to the group of medicines called anorectal preparations used to treat haemorrhoids (piles). Haemorrhoids, also known as piles, are the inflamed and swollen veins in the rectum and anus that cause discomfort, pain and bleeding. Sitcom Forte Tablet provides relief from pain, inflammation, discomfort and itching associated with piles.

Sitcom Forte Tablet contains Calcium Dobesilate and Euphorbia prostrata extract. Sitcom Forte Tablet is effective in controlling bleeding from the engorged anal veins by enhancing the free flow of blood through the veins. It promotes healing and reduces inflammation by decreasing the viscosity of the blood and reducing leakage from the blood vessels.

Take Sitcom Forte Tablet on an empty stomach. Sitcom Forte Tablet should be swallowed as a whole with water; do not chew or break it. Sitcom Forte Tablet should be used in the dose and duration prescribed by the doctor. In some cases, Sitcom Forte Tablet may cause certain common side effects such as local rash, stomach ache, constipation, dry mouth, and diarrhoea. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. However, you are advised to talk to your doctor if these side effects persist.

The detailed uses of Sitcom Forte Tablet are as follows: <br/> • Treatment of haemorrhoids: Sitcom Forte Tablet combination to treat hemorrhoids, utilizing their vascular protective and anti-inflammatory properties.<br/> • Management of chronic venous insufficiency: Sitcom Forte Tablet is sometimes used to manage chronic venous insufficiency due to its vascular protective properties, improving blood flow and reducing symptoms.<br/> • Reduces inflammation in haemorrhoids: Sitcom Forte Tablet helps reduce swelling, pain, and bleeding in hemorrhoidal veins.<br/>

Directions for Use

• Take Sitcom Forte Tablet with or without food or as advised by a doctor. • Follow your doctor's instructions on the dosage and timing of this medication, to ensure the safety. • Swallow the medicine as a whole with glass of water. • Do not crush, break, or chew it.

Sitcom Forte Tablet contains Calcium Dobesilate and Euphorbia prostrata extract. It is used primarily in the treatment of haemorrhoids (piles). Calcium dobesilate helps control and arrest bleeding by enhancing blood health and integrity. It prevents oxidation of blood and damage that leads to shedding or bleeding. Thus, it prevents leakage and oozing of blood from piles. It aids the natural clotting process and augments the healing process. Euphorbia prostrata is a plant extract. Diet & Lifestyle Advise

  • Cut back on fried foods and animal fats. Eat more lean meats, healthy fats, fruits, vegetables and whole-grain foods. Avoid lactose (milk, ice cream, cheese, yoghurt), fruits like mangoes, apples and plums; legumes; corn syrup, sweeteners, wheat-based bread, cashews and pistachios.
  • A fibre-rich diet is very helpful in ensuring normal bowel movements and preventing haemorrhoids. Whole-grain foods, fruits, vegetables, pulses, whole-wheat bread and pasta are rich in fibre. 
  • Limit or avoid alcohol and caffeine, as these can dysregulate normal bowel movements.
  • Exercising for 30 minutes every day can be very beneficial in staying fit and preventing the occurrence of piles. You may even break down your daily exercise regimen into bite-sized workouts or activities of 10 minutes each.
  • Avoid smoking as this can hamper healing.
