Sodoplus Tablet is mainly used to treat acid indigestion, heartburn, sour stomach, and stomach upset. Sodoplus Tablet may also be prescribed to make the blood or urine less acidic in certain conditions. It helps correct the acid-alkaline balance in the body.
Sodoplus Tablet contains sodium bicarbonate, which helps neutralize the stomach's acidic pH. Thereby, Sodoplus Tablet helps to provide relief from acidity.
Sometimes, you may experience common side effects such as dry mouth, urinating more than usual, and increased thirst. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually. However, talk to your doctor if the side effects persist or worsen.

Sodoplus Tablet is an antacid that helps neutralize stomach acid during indigestion and heartburn. Sodoplus Tablet may also be prescribed to make the blood or urine less acidic in certain conditions.
Sodoplus Tablet has alkaline pH, which helps in neutralising the acidic pH in the stomach. Thereby, Sodoplus Tablet helps to provide relief from acidity and heartburn.
Do not take Sodoplus Tablet for longer than two weeks unless prescribed by the doctor. If there is no symptomatic improvement despite using Sodoplus Tablet for 1-2 weeks, consult your doctor.
Sodoplus Tablet can be taken with other medicines if prescribed by the doctor. However, you are advised to maintain a gap of 2 hours between Sodoplus Tablet and other medicines.
Dry mouth could be a side-effect of Sodoplus Tablet. Limiting caffeine intake, avoiding smoking, drinking water regularly and chewing sugar-free gum/candy might stimulate saliva and prevent drying of the mouth.
If you have kidney problems, please consult your doctor before taking Sodoplus Tablet as it may possibly affect kidney function.
Sodoplus Tablet may cause side effects such as increased thirst, stomach cramps, gas, dry mouth and urinating more than usual. If these side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.
Store Sodoplus Tablet at room temperature. Protect from light. Keep it out of reach of children.
Sodoplus Tablet overdose may lead to hyperventilation (over breathing), twitching, very sensitive to light stimuli and high potassium levels in the blood which may cause dizziness or tiredness. Therefore, if you suspect you have taken overdose of Sodoplus Tablet, please seek medical help immediately.
Pregnant women are recommended to consult their doctor before using Sodoplus Tablet or any antacid, as it may worsen high blood pressure during pregnancy.
Sodoplus Tablet should be used for as long as it is advised by your doctor. However, do not use Sodoplus Tablet for more than 2 weeks without consulting a doctor. If acid problems persist or worsen after 2 weeks of self-treatment, seek medical help.
