About Sotret Gel

Sotret Gel belongs to a class of drugs called retinoids, used to treat acne. Acne is a common skin condition that occurs when hair follicles are blocked with dead skin cells and oil.

Sotret Gel contains 'isotretinoin', a form of vitamin A that works by reducing sebum production and decreasing the activity and size of sebaceous glands. Thereby, unblocks pores and kills acne-causing bacteria.

Some people may experience dry skin, redness, skin irritation, or flaking. Most of these side effects of Sotret Gel do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.

If you are allergic to isotretinoin, inform your doctor before using Sotret Gel. Consult your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Do not apply Sotret Gel on cuts, grazes, broken or sunburn skin.
