About STUGIL D TABLET 10'S

STUGIL D TABLET 10'S belongs to a group of anti-vertigo drugs used to treat the symptoms of vertigo such as dizziness, spinning sensation, nausea, and vomiting. STUGIL D TABLET 10'S can help you to carry out daily activities that are difficult when you have vertigo. Vertigo is a sudden external or internal spinning sensation that causes dizziness. It creates a false sense that you or your surroundings are moving or spinning.

STUGIL D TABLET 10'S is a combination of two drugs: Cinnarizine (calcium antagonist) and Dimenhydrinate (antihistamine). Cinnarizine prevents the narrowing of the blood vessels in the ear; this improves the blood flow in the ear. Dimenhydrinate works by blocking the action of a chemical messenger known as histamine, thereby prevents problems with loss of balance. Together, STUGIL D TABLET 10'S helps in reducing the symptoms of vertigo.

Take STUGIL D TABLET 10'S with food. Swallow STUGIL D TABLET 10'S as a whole with a glass of water; do not chew, or break the tablet. You are advised to take STUGIL D TABLET 10'S for as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you depending on your medical condition. In some cases, you may experience certain common side-effects such as drowsiness, dry mouth, stomach pain, and headache. Most of these side-effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. However, you are advised to talk to your doctor if you experience these side-effects persistently.

Do not take STUGIL D TABLET 10'S if you are pregnant or breastfeeding unless prescribed by the doctor. STUGIL D TABLET 10'S may cause drowsiness and sleepiness, so drive only if you are alert. STUGIL D TABLET 10'S is not recommended for children below 18years as the safety and effectiveness have not been established. Avoid consuming alcohol along with STUGIL D TABLET 10'S as it could lead to increased drowsiness. Inform your doctor about all the medicines you are taking and health conditions to rule out unpleasant side-effects.
