Tacrovin Forte 0.1% Ointment is used to treat atopic dermatitis (eczema). It contains Tacrolimus which works by suppressing the over-reaction of immune cells in the skin to a stimulus. About Tacrovin Forte 0.1% Ointment

Tacrovin Forte 0.1% Ointment is used to treat moderate to severe atopic dermatitis (eczema). Atopic dermatitis, also known as eczema, is a common skin condition associated with inflamed and itchy skin patches. The symptoms include itchy, dry, flaky, swollen, rough and irritated skin.

Tacrovin Forte 0.1% Ointment contains 'Tacrolimus' that works by suppressing the over-reaction of immune cells in the skin to a stimulus. Thus, it reduces allergic reactions and inflammation (redness and swelling). 

Use Tacrovin Forte 0.1% Ointment as prescribed. You are advised to use Tacrovin Forte 0.1% Ointment for as long as your doctor has recommended it for you based on your medical condition. Some people may experience itching, burning sensation, redness, pain or skin tingling. Most of these side effects of Tacrovin Forte 0.1% Ointment do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.

If you are pregnant or a breastfeeding mother, it is advised to consult a doctor before using Tacrovin Forte 0.1% Ointment. The detailed uses of Tacrovin Forte 0.1% Ointment are as follows:<br/>• Atopic Dermatitis Treatment: Tacrovin Forte 0.1% Ointment is often used to manage symptoms of atopic dermatitis, providing relief for itching and inflammation associated with this skin condition.<br/>• Reducing Skin Inflammation: Tacrovin Forte 0.1% Ointment can also be used to reduce overall skin inflammation, whether due to allergic reactions or other inflammatory conditions.<br/>• Psoriasis Management: Tacrovin Forte 0.1% Ointment can be effective in treating psoriasis by reducing the scaling and redness of the skin.<br/>• Eczema Relief: Tacrovin Forte 0.1% Ointment may be used to alleviate the symptoms of eczema, helping to soothe irritated skin and restore moisture.<br/>• Post-Transplant Skin Care: Tacrovin Forte 0.1% Ointment is sometimes prescribed for patients who have undergone organ transplants to prevent skin-related complications.<br/>

Directions for Use

• Tacrovin Forte 0.1% Ointment is for external use only.• It is usually applied twice daily or as directed by your doctor.• Check the label for directions before using this medicine.• Clean and dry the affected area of the skin. Take a small amount of Tacrovin Forte 0.1% Ointment on the fingertip and apply it as a thin layer on the affected area.• Wash your hands before and after using Tacrovin Forte 0.1% Ointment unless the treatment is for hands.• If Tacrovin Forte 0.1% Ointment accidentally comes into contact with the nose, mouth, eyes, or vagina, rinse with water thoroughly.

Tacrovin Forte 0.1% Ointment contains Tacrolimus, an immunosuppressant used to treat moderate to severe atopic dermatitis (eczema) in adults who are not adequately responsive or are intolerant to topical corticosteroids and in children (above 2 years) who failed to respond adequately to topical corticosteroids.  Tacrovin Forte 0.1% Ointment suppresses the overreaction of immune cells in the skin to a stimulus. What if I have taken an overdose of Tacrovin Forte 0.1% Ointment

Use Tacrovin Forte 0.1% Ointment only as prescribed by the physician. Do not exceed the recommended dose, as it might cause an overdose. Seek immediate medical attention if you experience any unusual symptoms.
