About Telrose Tablet

Telrose Tablet is used to treat high blood pressure associated with high cholesterol levels. Hypertension, or high blood pressure, is a chronic condition in which the force exerted by the blood against the artery wall is high. High cholesterol, known as hyperlipidemia, occurs when there is an excess of unhealthy cholesterol in the blood.

Telrose Tablet is a combination of Telmisartan and Rosuvastatin. Telmisartan works by blocking the action of a hormone called angiotensin II in the body, which causes the narrowing of blood vessels and leads to high blood pressure. Rosuvastatin works by blocking liver enzymes (HMG-CoA-reductase), causing the liver to produce less cholesterol. Thus, Telrose Tablet  lowers the levels of lipids known as cholesterol and triglycerides.

In some cases, you may experience an allergic reaction, low blood pressure, skin itching, and decreased platelet cell count (thrombocytopenia). Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects are persistent, reach out to your doctor.

Before starting Telrose Tablet , please inform your doctor if you have kidney disease or have undergone a kidney transplant. Renal artery stenosis(narrowing of the blood vessels to one or both kidneys), liver disease, and heart trouble. Do not take Telrose Tablet on your own as self-medication.

Telmisartan is a blood pressure-lowering medicine that works by blocking the action of a hormone called angiotensin II in the body, which causes the narrowing of blood vessels and leads to high blood pressure. Thereby, it widens and relaxes blood vessels. This lowers high blood pressure. Rosuvastatin is a lipid-lowering medicine that works by blocking liver enzymes (HMG-CoA-reductase), causing the liver to produce less cholesterol. So, it increases the uptake and breakdown of cholesterol already in the blood by the liver. Thus, Telrose Tablet lowers the levels of lipids known as cholesterol and triglycerides in the blood when lifestyle changes (like a low-fat diet) on their own have failed. Telrose Tablet helps in reducing the bad cholesterol LDL (low-density lipoprotein) and increasing the good cholesterol HDL (High-density lipoprotein) by blocking our body's production of bad cholesterol. It also improves your body's ability to remove it from your blood.
