Telvie MP Tablet is used to treat hypertension (high blood pressure). Hypertension is a condition in which the force of the blood against the artery walls is too high. Symptoms include headache, dizziness, nosebleeds, changes in vision, chest pain, weakness, and dyspnea (shortness of breath).

Telvie MP Tablet is a combination of Telmisartan and Metoprolol. This medicine relaxes the blood vessels and lowers the blood pressure.

Not everyone who takes Telvie MP Tablet will experience these side effects. In some cases, you may experience common side effects, including headache, nausea, dizziness, weakness, stomach pain, and a slow heart rate. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time.

You can take Telvie MP Tablet with or without food. It should be swallowed as a whole with a glass of water. Do not chew, bite, crush, or break it. Your doctor will advise you on how often you should take your tablets based on your medical condition. It is always important to complete your treatment course for better results.

Inform your doctor if you are allergic to Telvie MP Tablet . Try not to stop taking it on your own as it may cause a sudden increase the blood pressure, chest pain or heart attack. Consult your doctor before starting Telvie MP Tablet if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Telvie MP Tablet may cause dizziness, so drive only if you are alert. Avoid alcohol consumption with Telvie MP Tablet as it may cause increased dizziness. 

Telvie MP Tablet is used in the treatment of Hypertension (high blood pressure). The detailed use of Telvie MP Tablet is as follows:

• Treatment of Hypertension: Telvie MP Tablet is used to treat high blood pressure by relaxing blood vessels and reducing heart rate, thereby lowering blood pressure and reducing the risk of cardiovascular complications.

• Telvie MP Tablet can be taken with or without food, as advised by your doctor.
• Follow your doctor's instructions on the dosage and timing of this medication. Try to take it at the same time each day to help maintain steady levels of this medication in your blood.
• Swallow Telvie MP Tablet as a whole with a glass of water.
• Do not crush, chew, or break it.

• Telvie MP Tablet is a combination of two blood pressure-lowering medicines: telmisartan and metoprolol.
• Telmisartan works by blocking the angiotensin II receptor, thereby relaxing the blood vessels and lowering the blood pressure.
• Metoprolol helps to reduce blood pressure by allowing the blood to flow more smoothly.

• Do not take Telvie MP Tablet if you are allergic to telmisartan or metoprolol.
• Inform your doctor if you are taking monoamine oxidase inhibitors, aliskiren, quinidine, disopyramide, or other medications that lower blood pressure.
• Inform your doctor if you have kidney or liver diseases, biliary obstruction, heart problems, low blood pressure, diabetes, elevated potassium levels, blood circulation problems, asthma, COPD, metabolic acidosis, pheochromocytoma, slow heart rate, psoriasis, myasthenia gravis, or Prinzmetal angina.
• Pregnant and breastfeeding women should consult their doctor before taking Telvie MP Tablet .
• Telvie MP Tablet is not recommended for children below 18 years of age.
• Telvie MP Tablet may cause dizziness and tiredness, so drive or operate heavy machinery only if you are alert. 
• Prolonged intake of Telvie MP Tablet can cause an altered potassium level. So, regular monitoring of potassium is advised.
• It is always important to check the expiry of the medicine. Discard the medicine if it reaches the expiry date.
