TEXIFEN CREAM is used in the treatment of fungal infections. The detailed uses of TEXIFEN CREAM are as follows:

• Athletes' Foot (Tinea Pedis): TEXIFEN CREAM helps eliminate fungal infections between the toes and on the soles of the feet.
• Jock Itch (Tinea Cruris): TEXIFEN CREAM treats fungal infections in the groin and inner thigh area.
• Ringworm (Tinea Corporis): TEXIFEN CREAM is effective against ringworm infections on the body.
• Tinea Versicolor: TEXIFEN CREAM is used to treat this skin condition caused by yeast overgrowth.
• Yeast Infections (Cutaneous Candidiasis): TEXIFEN CREAM helps manage fungal infections caused by Candida species.

• TEXIFEN CREAM is an antifungal that is primarily used to treat fungal infections of the skin, such as ringworm, jock itch and athlete’s foot.
• The fungal cell membranes are essential for their survival as they prevent the entry of unwanted substances into the cells and stop the leakage of cell contents.
• TEXIFEN CREAM causes holes in the fungal cell membranes and kills fungi.

• If you are pregnant or a nursing mother, it is advised to consult a doctor before using TEXIFEN CREAM.
• Avoid smoking or going near naked flames as the fabric (bedding, clothing, dressings) that is in contact with TEXIFEN CREAM catches fire and burns easily, which is a serious fire hazard.
• If someone swallows TEXIFEN CREAM accidentally, go to the nearest hospital emergency department or consult your doctor immediately as it may cause symptoms such as stomach pain, dizziness, nausea, and headache.
• If you have psoriasis, inform your doctor before using TEXIFEN CREAM.
