Tobasoft 0.3% Ophthalmic Ointment 5 gm belongs to the class of aminoglycoside antibiotics. It is used for the treatment of bacterial eye infections. Bacterial eye infection occurs when harmful bacteria invade any part of the eye, such as the eyeball, conjunctiva, or cornea.

Tobasoft 0.3% Ophthalmic Ointment 5 gm contains tobramycin, an antibiotic that works by killing the infection-causing bacteria. Thus Tobasoft 0.3% Ophthalmic Ointment 5 gm treats bacterial eye infections.

Use Tobasoft 0.3% Ophthalmic Ointment 5 gm as prescribed by your doctor. The common side-effects of Tobasoft 0.3% Ophthalmic Ointment 5 gm are eye irritation, feeling of having something in the eye, swollen/itchy eyelids, eye redness, increased tearing and inflammation of the cornea (clear front portion of your eye).
