Tofasol 2% Ointment 10 gm is primarily used to treat alopecia areata (hair loss). Alopecia is the thinning or loss of hair on the scalp or any hair-bearing site on the body.

Tofasol 2% Ointment 10 gm contains Tofacitinib, which affects hematopoiesis and immune cell activity by transmitting signals resulting from cytokine or growth factor-receptor interactions on the cellular membrane.

Tofasol 2% Ointment 10 gm may cause certain side effects such as excessive hair growth, headache, skin irritation, itching, rashes, nausea, vomiting, and fatigue.
