Topzee Cream 15 gm

Topzee Cream 15 gm belongs to a class of dermatological preparations called topical corticosteroids primarily used to treat swelling, itching redness, and irritation caused due to certain skin problems such as dermatitis (itchy, swelling of the skin), eczema (itchy, cracked, swollen, or rough skin) and psoriasis (scales and itchy, dry patches). Skin irritation occurs when an allergic reaction releases several substances that widen blood vessels, causing itching, redness, pain, and swelling in the affected area.

Topzee Cream 15 gm contains 'Clobetasone' that works by acting inside skin cells inhibiting the release of certain chemical messengers responsible for causing redness, itching, and swelling. When the skin reacts to any allergens, such chemicals are released normally. Thus, Topzee Cream 15 gm treats skin allergies like allergic dermatitis, eczema, and psoriasis. 

Use Topzee Cream 15 gm as prescribed. Topzee Cream 15 gm is for external use only. Avoid contact of Topzee Cream 15 gm with nose, mouth, or eyes. In case Topzee Cream 15 gm comes in contact with these areas accidentally, rinse with water thoroughly. Some people may experience itching, pain, irritation, or burning sensation at the site of application. Most of these side effects of Topzee Cream 15 gm do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.

If you are allergic to Topzee Cream 15 gm or any other medicines, please tell your doctor. If you are pregnant or a breastfeeding mother, it is advised to consult a doctor before using Topzee Cream 15 gm. Wear disposable plastic gloves or wash your hands after use if you are applying Topzee Cream 15 gm for others. Avoid smoking or going near naked flames as the fabric (bedding, clothing, dressings) in contact with Topzee Cream 15 gm catches fire and burns easily. Do not use Topzee Cream 15 gm within skin folds and on broken skin without a doctor’s advice. Avoid contact of Topzee Cream 15 gm with eyes, as it may lead to glaucoma (high pressure in the eye damages the optic nerve) or cataracts if Topzee Cream 15 gm gets into the eye repeatedly. Do not swallow Topzee Cream 15 gm. In case of accidental swallowing, rinse your mouth with plenty of water or consult a doctor immediately. If you have acne, rosacea (redness and often red, small, pus-filled bumps on the face), chronic leg ulcer, infected skin, or itchy skin that is not inflamed, inform your doctor before taking Topzee Cream 15 gm.

Drug-Drug Interaction: Topzee Cream 15 gm may interact with HIV/AIDS drugs (ritonavir), and antifungals (itraconazole).

Drug-Disease Interaction: If you have acne, rosacea (redness and often red, small, pus-filled bumps on the face), chronic leg ulcer, infected, skin or itchy skin that is not inflamed, inform your doctor before taking Topzee Cream 15 gm.

• Eat foods rich in quercetin (a flavonoid) such as apples, cherries, broccoli, spinach, and blueberries.
• Consuming food rich in probiotics helps in developing the immune system against allergies.
• Limit intake of food that might trigger allergies such as dairy products, soy, eggs, and nuts.
• Avoid consumption of foods with excess sugar as it may flare up inflammation.
• Include fruits, vegetables, whole grains, healthy fats, and fish in your diet.
• Reducing stress and maintaining a regular sleep pattern would be helpful.
• Avoid getting in contact with harsh soaps, detergents, and rough fabrics.

Please consult a dermatologist if the skin condition does not improve after 1 month of treatment with Topzee Cream 15 gm.
