TRALVOST EYE DROPS 10ML

TRALVOST EYE DROPS is used for the reduction of elevated intraocular pressure in patients with open-angle glaucoma or ocular hypertension. Glaucoma is a condition that causes damage to the optic nerve (necessary for optimal vision). Ocular hypertension is an increase in ocular pressure caused by inadequate aqueous humor outflow (fluid in the eye that maintains normal pressure by its continuous flow).

TRALVOST EYE DROPS contains Travoprost and Timolol. Travoprost increases the drainage of aqueous humour (fluid in the eye) from the eye and reduces increased eye pressure. Timolol works by decreasing the production of fluid in the eye.

The most common side effects of TRALVOST EYE DROPS include decreased visual acuity, eye discomfort, foreign body sensation, pain and pruritus (itching) in some situations. The majority of side effects do not require medical treatment and fade away with time. However, if the side effects persist, consult your doctor.

Instil TRALVOST EYE DROPS as advised by your doctor. It is advised not to use more than the prescribed amount of medicine. TRALVOST EYE DROPS is for ophthalmic use only. Do not ingest. Avoid touching the tip of the dropper to prevent contamination.

Inform your doctor if you are allergic to Travoprost or any ingredients present in the TRALVOST EYE DROPS. It is recommended not to take TRALVOST EYE DROPS if you are a pregnant or nursing mother without first consulting your doctor. If you are using more than one ophthalmic medicine, give each one (drug) at least a ten-minute gap. Do not take any other eye medication with TRALVOST EYE DROPS, without consulting your doctor.

TRALVOST EYE DROPS is used to treat glaucoma and reduce elevated intraocular pressure (IOP). The detailed uses of TRALVOST EYE DROPS are as follows:

• Glaucoma Management: TRALVOST EYE DROPS manages glaucoma by reducing fluid production and increasing fluid drainage, providing comprehensive eye pressure management.
• Intraocular Pressure Reduction: TRALVOST EYE DROPS effectively lowers high pressure inside the eye, helping to prevent vision loss and damage.

• Recommended to instil 1 drop in the affected eye, once or twice a day or as advised by your doctor.
• Tilt the head back, pull down the lower eyelid, and squeeze the prescribed number of drops. Close your eyes for 1-2 minutes.
• Do not touch the container tip to the eye, eyelids, or surrounding areas to prevent contamination.
• TRALVOST EYE DROPS is only for ophthalmic use.

• TRALVOST EYE DROPS is a combination drug containing 'ophthalmic medication,' used to treat raised /increased pressure in the eye.
• It contains Travoprost (prostaglandin analog) and Timolol (beta-blocker), primarily used in treating ocular hypertension (high pressure of the eye).
• If the pressure is too high, it can also lead to loss of sight. Travoprost works by increasing the drainage of aqueous humor (fluid in the eye) from the eye, whereas, timolol works by decreasing the production of fluid in the eye.
• Increased pressure, if left untreated, it may lead to an illness called glaucoma. 

• Do not take TRALVOST EYE DROPS if you are allergic or hypersensitive to TRALVOST EYE DROPS, other antibiotics, beta-blockers, sulfa drugs.
• Inform your doctor about all the prescription and non-prescription medications you are taking, especially eye medications, products that contain aspirin and vitamins.
• If you have a kidney or liver problem, diabetes, overactivity of the thyroid gland, or macular edema, inform your doctor before using; as dose adjustment may be required.
• Wash your hands properly before using TRALVOST EYE DROPS to avoid any infection.
• Inform your doctor if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or taking any other medication.
• It is advised not to drive or operate heavy machinery after using this medicine, as it may cause blurred vision and may affect your ability to drive.
• To prevent contamination, avoid touching the tip of the container to any surface. Replace the cap after use.
• Go for regular eye checkups that help the doctor know whether the medicine is working properly or not.
• Apply the TRALVOST EYE DROPS in the affected eye as directed by the doctor, and don't increase the dose or use it more often to get the results faster.
• Always remove the contact lenses before using TRALVOST EYE DROPS, as there is a preservative in TRALVOST EYE DROPS that can be absorbed by the contact lenses.
• It is better to wait for a minimum of 15 minutes after applying this drug before putting lenses back in.
• Do not rinse and use the dropper; instead, replace the dropper after every use.
