About Utergin Tablet
Utergin Tablet is used to prevent and control postpartum haemorrhage. It is used after delivery for the routine management of uterine atony, subinvolution of the uterus, and haemorrhage.
Utergin Tablet contains Methylergometrine, which works by increasing the smooth muscle contractions of the uterus. This helps compress the blood vessels and controls bleeding after delivery.
Take Utergin Tablet exactly as prescribed by the doctor. In some cases, Utergin Tablet may cause high blood pressure associated with seizures and/or headache, nausea, and vomiting. If the side effects persist or worsen, consult your doctor.

Utergin Tablet is indicated in the prevention and control of postpartum haemorrhage. Do not take Utergin Tablet if you are allergic to any of its components, if you have high blood pressure, toxaemia (a complication of pregnancy characterised by high blood pressure), or if you are pregnant.
