Valren Tablet 10's is used to treat cytomegalovirus (CMV) infection of the retina of the eye in adult AIDS patients. Also, Valren Tablet 10's is used to prevent CMV infection in patients who received an organ transplant from a donor infected with CMV.
Valren Tablet 10's contains Valganciclovir, which is converted to ganciclovir in the body and inhibits viral multiplication.
In some cases, you may experience diarrhoea, loss of appetite, cough, headache, stomach pain, nausea, fever, tiredness, or sinusitis (sinus infection). Most of these side effects do not require medical attention. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.
If you are allergic to Valren Tablet 10's or any other medicines, please tell your doctor. Avoid taking Valren Tablet 10's if you are pregnant, as it may cause birth defects.
