About Vorier Injection

Vorier Injection is used to treat a broad range of fungal infections. A fungal infection is caused when a fungus invades and affects any body part, including the mouth, throat, oesophagus, lungs, bladder, genital area and blood.

Vorier Injection contains ‘Voriconazole’ that kills or prevents fungi or yeast by inhibiting an enzyme in fungi, which interferes with the fungal cell membrane's formation.

In some cases, you may experience certain common side effects, such as injection site reactions, headache, diarrhoea, vomiting, abdominal pain, chest pain, nausea, fever, insomnia, confusion, weakness, tingling sensation, sleepiness, dizziness, stomach upset, constipation, rashes, itchiness, red skin, back pain and chills. Talk to your doctor if you experience these side effects persistently.

Before taking Vorier Injection, let your doctor know about your medical condition, sensitivities, and medications. Uses of Vorier Injection

Vorier Injection is used in the treatment of Fungal infections. The detailed uses of Vorier Injection are as follows:

  • Treat invasive aspergillosis: Vorier Injection is a first-line antifungal therapy for serious infections caused by Aspergillus species, especially in immunocompromised patients such as those undergoing chemotherapy or organ transplantation.
  • Manage candidemia and deep tissue Candida infections: Vorier Injection is used to treat bloodstream infections and other severe Candida infections in patients who are not neutropenic, offering broad-spectrum antifungal coverage.
  • Treat esophageal candidiasis: Vorier Injection helps eliminate Candida infections in the esophagus, especially in patients who cannot tolerate oral antifungals.
  • Combat rare and resistant fungal infections: Vorier Injection is effective against Scedosporium apiospermum and Fusarium species, including Fusarium solani, in patients who are intolerant of or refractory to other antifungal therapies.

How Vorier Injection Works

Side effects of Vorier Injection
  • Your doctor may recommend regular liver function tests (LFT) to monitor liver enzyme levels.
  • To support your liver, eat a healthy diet with lots of fruits, vegetables, lean proteins, and healthy fats.
  • Avoid eating processed meats, sugary foods, and unhealthy fats.
  • Limit your alcohol consumption, since too much can worsen liver function and contribute to high levels of Alkaline Phosphatase (ALP).
  • Stay active with regular exercise, drink plenty of water, and try to avoid harmful chemicals that can damage your liver.
  • Quit smoking to lower the risk of elevated ALP levels.
  • Increased creatinine levels must be corrected immediately with the help of a doctor.
