ZINCODERM S CREAM is a dermatological medication, primarily used to treat eczema and psoriasis. Eczema is a skin condition associated with inflamed, itchy, cracked and rough skin patches. Psoriasis is a skin disease in which skin cells multiply rapidly to form bumpy (uneven) red patches covered with white scales.

ZINCODERM S CREAM is composed of three medicines: Clobetasol (corticosteroid), Salicylic acid (peeling agent), and Zinc oxide (antiseptic and astringent). Clobetasol is a corticosteroid that blocks the production of prostaglandins (chemical messengers) that make the affected area red, swollen and itchy. Salicylic acid is a keratolytic medicine (softens, separates, and causes desquamation (peeling) of the cornified epithelium or horny layer of skin). It increases the amount of moisture in the skin and dissolves the substance that causes the skin cells to stick together. Zinc oxide is a mild antiseptic and astringent (cleanses skin and tightens pores). It works by forming a barrier on the skin to protect it from moisture and irritants. 

Your doctor will advise the appropriate use of ZINCODERM S CREAM that suits your infection. Common side effects of ZINCODERM S CREAM include itching, dryness, and burning sensation at the application site. These side effects are temporary and gradually resolve over time. If the side effects are persistent, please consult your doctor.

Let your doctor know if you are sensitive to ZINCODERM S CREAM or any other medications. Do not use ZINCODERM S CREAM on open wounds, blisters and lesions. Please do not cover the affected areas with dressing or bandage since it increases the side effects. ZINCODERM S CREAM is not recommended for use in diaper rash. Let your doctor know if you have liver/kidney diseases or other skin diseases before starting ZINCODERM S CREAM. Pregnant and breastfeeding mothers should consult the doctor before starting ZINCODERM S CREAM.

• Treats Eczema (Atopic dermatitis): ZINCODERM S CREAM helps relieve inflammation, itching, dryness, and redness caused by eczema.
• Treats Psoriasis: ZINCODERM S CREAM helps soften and break down the scaly and thickened patches of skin commonly seen in psoriasis by shedding the outer layer of dead skin cells.
• Hydrates and Softens the Skin: Salicylic acid in ZINCODERM S CREAM increases skin moisture and prevents skin cells from sticking together, resulting in softer and smoother skin.
• Prevents Secondary Skin Infections: Zinc oxide in ZINCODERM S CREAM acts as a mild antiseptic and astringent, which helps cleanse the skin, tighten pores, and prevent secondary infections in irritated or broken skin areas.
• Protects and Heals Damaged Skin: Zinc oxide also forms a protective barrier on the skin, shielding it from moisture, irritants, and minor injuries, thereby support healing.

• Follow your doctor's instructions on the dosage and timing of this medication to ensure safety.

ZINCODERM S CREAM is for topical (for skin) use only. ZINCODERM S CREAM is not recommended for use in diaper rash. Do not cover the affected areas with occlusive dressings while using ZINCODERM S CREAM. Avoid applying ZINCODERM S CREAM on sunburns, lesions, blisters, and open wounds. Let your doctor know if you are a pregnant or a lactating mother before using ZINCODERM S CREAM. Do not go near naked flames since the fabric that comes in contact with ZINCODERM S CREAM may burn easily. Washing the fabric may decrease the risk, but it does not remove the product completely. Do not store ZINCODERM S CREAM above 25°C.
