Welcome to the 6th and 7th months of your pregnancy journey! Sixth and seventh month of pregnancy is a phase when there can be some amount of water retention where mothers might notice a little bit of pedal edema or the swelling in their feet. So this is a phase when there is requirement of some herbal supplements which can help the body naturally to flush out the water retention. So there is a mention of a specific herb called as Gokshura which can be taken under your doctor’s advice, because this needs to be processed in a typical way for it to be absorbed in the body and do the natural function of preventing water retention and the pedal edema or the swelling in the feet. So this month also, the sixth and seventh months also include all the diet regimens mentioned in the previous months along with that a specific mention of certain herbs like Prithakparnyadi drugs and the Gokshura these are the specific drugs which have been mentioned which can be taken under the doctor's advice.
