About Amylac Cream 50 gm

The Amylac Cream 50 gm belongs to the class of medications called 'alpha-hydroxy acids' primarily used to treat xerosis (dry or scaly skin) and ichthyosis Vulgaris (an inherited dry skin condition) in adults and children. And it can also help relieve itching from these conditions.

Amylac Cream 50 gm contains lactic acid and ammonium hydroxide. Amylac Cream 50 gm acts as a moisturizer and works by increasing skin hydration. And thereby relieving the symptoms of dry or scaly skin and dry skin.

Amylac Cream 50 gm comes as a cream and a lotion to apply to the skin. Amylac Cream 50 gm is for external use only. It is usually applied to the affected skin area twice daily. Apply gently at around the same time(s) every day. Follow the directions on your prescription label carefully. Apply Amylac Cream 50 gm exactly as directed. Please do not use it more or less or use it more often than your doctor prescribed. Amylac Cream 50 gm has common side effects, as every medicine does. These include rash (including erythema and irritation) and burning/stinging. These side effects gradually resolve during the treatment and do not require medical attention.

Directions for Use

Avoid contact of the Amylac Cream 50 gm with the nose or eyes. In case of accidental contact with these areas, rinse with water thoroughly. Wash your hands before and after using Amylac Cream 50 gm if your hands are not the affected area to prevent the spread of infection.
