Biscor 10 mg Rectal Suppositories is used to treat occasional constipation. It may also be used to empty the bowels before surgery or certain medical procedures. Constipation refers to infrequent bowel movements. In this condition, the stools are often dry, painful and hard to pass.

Biscor 10 mg Rectal Suppositories contains Bisacodyl, which increases intestinal activity, facilitating a bowel movement. Thereby, Biscor 10 mg Rectal Suppositories helps treat constipation.

In some cases, Biscor 10 mg Rectal Suppositories may cause side effects such as diarrhoea, abdominal pain or cramps, rectal inflammation, or irritation. Directions for Use

• It is advised to use Biscor 10 mg Rectal Suppositories once daily in the morning; however, follow your doctor's advice regarding the dosage and duration.• Lie down on your left side and raise your right knee to the chest. Remove the wrapper and insert the pointed end of the suppository into the rectum.• Keep lying down for about 15 minutes after insertion to prevent the suppository from sliding.

What if I have taken an overdose of Biscor 10 mg Rectal Suppositories

A bisacodyl overdose can cause diarrhea, which can result in electrolyte imbalances such as hypokalemia, hypocalcemia, metabolic acidosis, or alkalosis.
