About Collavisc Capsule

Collavisc Capsule belongs to a group of medicines called 'nutritional supplements' used to treat joint problems. Collavisc Capsule is used for the maintenance of joints, muscles, cartilage, the integrity of joints, bone health, joint pain, arthritic pain, stiffness, low back pain, tendonitis or tendinopathy (tendon pain). Joint pain refers to the joints' discomfort, pain, stiffness, and soreness. 

Collavisc Capsule contains Collagen peptide, Sodium hyaluronate, Chondroitin sulphate, and Vitamin C. Collagen peptide helps in the regeneration of cartilage, thereby providing strength to the bones and improving joints' flexibility. Sodium hyaluronate acts as a lubricant in the joints and prevents friction between the joints. Chondroitin sulphate prevents the breakdown of collagen tissue in the joints. Vitamin C acts as an antioxidant that helps iron absorption, synthesises new collagen fibres and blood vessel formation, and promotes healing at the joint site. Together, Collavisc Capsule helps provide relief from pain and stiffness in the joints. 

Take Collavisc Capsule for the duration as your doctor suggested it for you, depending on your medical condition. In some cases, you may experience certain common side effects, such as heartburn, stomach pain, headache, nausea, vomiting, and diarrhoea. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. However, you are advised to talk to your doctor if you experience these side effects persistently.

  • Maintain a healthy weight by performing regular low-strain exercises and eating healthy food.
  • Get adequate sleep, as resting the muscles can help in reducing inflammation and swelling.
  • Follow heat or cold therapy and apply a cold or hot compress on the joints for 15-20minutes regularly.
  • De-stress yourself by meditating, reading books, taking a warm bubble bath or listening to soothing music.
  • Acupuncture, massage and physical therapy may also be helpful.
  • Eat food rich in antioxidants such as berries, spinach, kidney beans, dark chocolate, etc.

Collavisc Capsule is used to treat Joint pain and Tendonitis (inflammation of tissue connecting bone to muscle).

Collavisc Capsule is a combination of Collagen peptide, Sodium hyaluronate, Chondroitin sulphate, and Vitamin C. Collagen peptide helps in the regeneration of cartilage, thereby providing strength to the bones and improving the flexibility of joints. Painkillers relieve pain by blocking the pain signals but do not correct the basic problem, such as degeneration of the joints. Collavisc Capsule contains collagen, which is the main building protein in bone, cartilage, and other connective tissues. Sodium hyaluronate and chondroitin sulphate help in reducing inflammation. Vitamin C has an antioxidant property that is required by the body to make collagen. Together, Collavisc Capsule helps in healing the joints and also provides relief from pain.

Collavisc Capsule is used to reduce and relieve pain and inflammation associated with osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis and ankylosing spondylitis. Arthritis is tenderness and swelling in the joints.

Collavisc Capsule is used to treat tendon pain in tendonitis and tendinopathy. Tendonitis or tendinopathy occurs due to repetitive mechanical load on the tendons leading to degeneration and inflammation of tendons, often due to athletic activities.

Diarrhoea might be a side-effect of Collavisc Capsule . Drink plenty of fluids to prevent dehydration if you experience diarrhoea. If you find blood in your stools (tarry stools) or if you experience severe diarrhoea, consult your doctor. Do not take anti-diarrheal medicine on your own.

Collavisc Capsule is not a painkiller. Instead, it supports joint health by aiding in cartilage repair and reducing inflammation, which can alleviate joint pain over time. Please consult a doctor for specific pain management recommendations.
