Derobin Ointment 30 gm belongs to a combination medication called dermatological preparations used to treat skin conditions like psoriasis and eczema. It helps to reduce swelling, itching, and redness and remove dead skin cells. Psoriasis is a chronic (long-term) skin condition in which skin cells multiply faster than normal, resulting in white scales and itchy, dry patches. Eczema is an allergic condition of the skin caused due to bacteria, viruses, or fungi. 

Derobin Ointment 30 gm contains Dithranol (antipsoriatic drug), Salicylic acid (peeling agent and anti-inflammatory), and Coal tar (keratolytic agents). Dithranol, also known as Anthralin, is an antipsoriatic drug that works by slowing down the production of skin cells. Salicylic acid and Coal tar are keratolytic agents that work by breaking down a protein known as keratin (that forms part of skin structure) which removes dead skin cell, peel dead cells of the skin, and softens skin. 

Use Derobin Ointment 30 gm as instructed by the doctor. Derobin Ointment 30 gm is only for external use. Avoid contact of Derobin Ointment 30 gm with normal skin, nose, mouth, eyes, skin folds, or genitals. In case Derobin Ointment 30 gm comes in contact with these areas accidentally, rinse with water thoroughly. Some people may experience skin irritation or staining of the skin. • Include fruits, vegetables, whole grains, healthy fats, and fish in your diet. Increase intake of lean proteins containing omega-3-fatty acids such as sardines, salmon, shrimp, soybeans, walnuts, and flax seeds.

• Avoid stress or learn to cope with stress by doing yoga, meditation, or journaling as stress may also trigger psoriasis.

• Avoid getting in contact with harsh soaps, detergents, and rough fabrics.

• You are advised to consult a dermatologist if the skin condition does not improve after 1 month of using Derobin Ointment 30 gm.
