Dicalis Tablet 10's belongs to a class of medications called nutritional supplements used to treat nutritional deficiencies. A nutritional deficiency occurs when the body does not absorb or get enough nutrients from food. Vitamins and minerals are necessary for body development and the prevention of diseases.

Dicalis Tablet 10's is a combination of four drugs, namely: Calcium, Folic acid, Glycine, and Vitamin D2. Calcium strengthens bones and reduces weakness. Folic acid is essential for heme (pigmented, iron-containing portion of hemoglobin in red blood cells) formation. Glycine is an amino acid that is necessary for the healthy development of muscles, tissues, and the skeleton. Vitamin D2 is essential for intestinal phosphorus and calcium absorption. Together Dicalis Tablet 10's improves the overall health of the body.

Take Dicalis Tablet 10's as advised by your doctor. In some cases, you may experience nausea, vomiting, constipation, loss of appetite, or flatulence (gas). Most of these side effects of Dicalis Tablet 10's do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.

If you are allergic to Dicalis Tablet 10's or any other medicines, please tell your doctor. Dicalis Tablet 10's should be used in children only if recommended by a doctor. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, please consult a doctor before using Dicalis Tablet 10's. If you are undergoing dialysis, inform your doctor before taking Dicalis Tablet 10's.

Drug-Drug Interaction: Dicalis Tablet 10's may interact with anticonvulsants (phenobarbital, primidone, phenytoin), antibiotics (trimethoprim), nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (aspirin), antidepressants (duloxetine), thyroid medicine (levothyroxine), water pill (hydrochlorothiazide), high cholesterol-lowering medicine (cholestyramine), iron supplement (ferrous sulphate),  anti-inflammatory drug (sulfasalazine), anticancer drug (fluorouracil).

Drug-Food Interaction: Inform your doctor if you are taking zinc supplements or medicines containing zinc.  

Drug-Disease Interaction: If you have cancer, pernicious anaemia (anaemia due to lack of vitamin B12), high calcium or vitamin D levels, electrolyte imbalance, kidney or heart disease, tumour or if you are receiving a stent in the heart or undergoing haemodialysis due to kidney failure, inform your doctor before taking Dicalis Tablet 10's.

• Eat a healthy diet, especially green leafy vegetables, and do regular physical exercise.

• Limit junk food items from outside and stick to freshly prepared home-cooked meals.
• Eat cabbage, spinach, broccoli, asparagus, kale, Brussels sprouts, lentils, peas, and beans. Also include beef and yeast extracts, poultry, liver, shellfish and pork.
• Drink plenty of fluids to stay hydrated.
• Avoid consumption of alcohol.
