Episert Cream is used in the treatment of Tinea pedis/Athlete’s foot. The detailed uses of Episert Cream are as follows:

• Athlete's foot (tinea pedis): Episert Cream helps clear fungal infections on the feet, particularly between the toes, by stopping the growth of the fungi causing the itchiness, scaling, and cracking.
• Ringworm (tinea corporis): Episert Cream treats ring-shaped, red, itchy skin rashes on the body by targeting and clearing the underlying fungal infection.
• Jock itch (tinea cruris): Episert Cream relieves fungal infections in the groin and inner thigh areas, reducing itching, redness, and discomfort.
• Tinea versicolor (pityriasis versicolor): Episert Cream helps treat fungal skin infections that cause lighter or darker patches on the chest, back, neck, or upper arms by stopping the growth of the fungus responsible for the infection.

• Relieves discomfort: Helps reduce itching, burning, redness, and irritation caused by fungal skin infections, making the affected skin feel more comfortable.
• Clears the infection: Stops the growth of the fungus causing the infection, helping prevent it from spreading to nearby skin.
• Supports skin healing: Regular use helps reduce skin flaking, cracking, and soreness, allowing the skin to heal and return to its normal healthy condition.

• It is typically recommended to be applied twice a day. However, follow your doctor's instructions on the dosage and timing of this medication for effective results.

• Do not share personal items like towels, clothing, hairbrushes, or footwear with others to avoid spreading the infection.
• Let your shoes air out for at least 24 hours before wearing them again to prevent fungal growth inside the footwear.

• Check the tube before use to ensure the seal is intact and the cream looks uniform without any separation or unusual color.
• For external skin use only; do not apply Episert Cream inside your eyes, nose, mouth, or vaginal area.
• Avoid wrapping or bandaging the treated area tightly unless specifically advised by your healthcare provider, as this can increase absorption and irritation.
• Continue using the cream for the full duration prescribed by your doctor, even if your skin looks completely clear after a few days.
• Wash your hands thoroughly before and after every application to prevent cross-contamination.
