Fag M tablet is a nutritional supplement that nourishes the body with essential vitamins and minerals that help in treating various types of anaemias (low blood count). It contains Pyridoxal Phosphate (Vitamin B6), Cholecalciferol (Vitamin D), Ferrous Aspartoglycinate (Iron), Methyl Folate (Folic Acid), Calcium and Methylcobalamin (Vitamin B12). It stimulates the bone marrow to produce more red blood cells, thereby addressing anaemia. The iron component helps in treating iron-deficiency, which causes anaemia and lethargy, spoon-shaped nails, paleness and fatigue. The Vitamin B 12 and folic acid combination address any vitamin-B12 or folate deficiencies, which tend to cause a type of anaemia called megaloblastic anaemia. It is characterised by a loss of appetite, swollen tongue, muscle weakness and nervous dysfunction. Fag M tablet also has antioxidant properties and protects the cells from damage by free radicals. It is also very useful in post-menopausal women and as a supplement during menopause as it contains calcium and vitamin D, which help in addressing the issue of brittle bones and osteoporosis, common at that stage of a woman’s life. Further, folic acid and Vitamin B12 are very important for nerve health and also for improving mood.

Before starting the medication, let your doctor know if you have any kidney disease, stones, G6PD deficiency, any stomach ulcers, any diseases causing chronic diarrhoea or malabsorption, or any other pre-existing medical conditions such as diabetes or phenylketonuria. Keep your doctor informed of any history of alcoholism. If you experience any unusual symptoms or allergic reactions while taking the medicine, please discontinue the use and consult your doctor immediately. Inform your doctor of any other herbs or medications that you may be using. Keep your doctor informed if you are on any antacids, antidiabetic drugs, blood thinners, oestrogens or other hormones, vitamin supplements, antipsychotics (fluphenazine), chemotherapy, antivirals (indinavir), thyroid medication (levothyroxine) or painkillers (acetaminophen). Inform your doctor in advance if you are pregnant, planning to conceive or breast-feeding before starting the medication. Keep the medicine out of reach of children and pets. Store in a cool, dry place, protected from direct sunlight.
