• Keep away from pets: Keep treated skin away from pets, as even a small amount of this medication can be highly toxic and fatal to animals if they lick the area.
• When to see your doctor: Contact your doctor if your symptoms worsen, you do not see improvement after completing the prescribed course, or new skin lesions appear.
• During treatment: During treatment, the skin may become red, swollen, irritated, dry, or peel as the medicine works on abnormal skin cells. These reactions may gradually progress before healing begins after treatment is stopped.
