Folinext D Capsule is used to treat nutritional deficiencies. It is used to treat and prevent vitamin B6 deficiency, folate deficiency and vitamin B12 deficiency. Folinext D Capsule effectively treats various conditions caused by a lack of vitamins, such as anaemia (lack of red blood cells), peripheral neuropathy (nerve disorder), seizures (fits), and hyperoxaluria (excess oxalate levels in urine).
Folinext D Capsule contains three medicines: Docosahexaenoic acid (DHA), Folic acid and Methylcobalamin. DHA plays an essential role in the development of the brain and is vital during pregnancy and infancy. Folic acid helps form red blood cells and prevents DNA changes that may lead to cancer. Methylcobalamin, a form of vitamin B12, protects the nerves from damage and promotes blood cell production.
Folinext D Capsule may cause side effects such as nausea (feeling sick), vomiting (being sick), diarrhoea, anorexia (loss of appetite), headache, weight loss, fatigue, bloating and flatulence. These side effects are usually mild and do not require any medical attention. However, if these side effects persist, consult your doctor immediately.
Do not take Folinext D Capsule if you are allergic to any of its contents. Do not take Folinext D Capsule if you have hypercalcemia (high levels of calcium), osteoporosis (thin and brittle bones), kidney problems, cancer, undergone surgery, optic nerve damage. You are not well due to high levels of vitamin D. Also, inform your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
