Happynap Cream 15 gm

Happynap Cream 15 gm is a dermatological antiseptic medication, primarily used to treat and prevent diaper rash and other rashes caused due to tight clothing. Happynap Cream 15 gm promotes the healing of chapped skin and diaper rash. Diaper rash is an inflammatory reaction which is localized to skin areas usually covered by the diaper.

Happynap Cream 15 gm contains Benzalkonium and Zinc oxide. Benzalkonium is used as an antiseptic, disinfectant and antimicrobial preservative. It has antimicrobial properties against bacteria, fungi and viruses. It prevents skin infections. Zinc oxide is a mild antiseptic that works by forming a barrier on the skin to protect it from moisture and irritants. It is used as a protective coating for mild skin irritations and abrasions. Happynap Cream 15 gm works by inhibiting the growth of infection-causing microbes.

Happynap Cream 15 gm is for external use only. Happynap Cream 15 gm has common side effects as every medicine does. These include local itchiness, redness and irritation at the application site. These side effects gradually resolve during the treatment and do not require medical attention. However, if you notice any allergic reactions and skin rash, please consult your doctor.

Let your doctor know if you are allergic to Benzalkonium or Zinc oxide. Let your doctor know if you have a history of liver, kidney diseases and skin infections before using Happynap Cream 15 gm. Rash creams sometimes may contain additional preservatives that may make the skin sensitive to the sun. Please check the label for such warnings and ask your doctor to suggest you any precautions.

Happynap Cream 15 gm is for external use only. Keep out of your mouth, nose, ears and eyes. Apply the cream on the diaper rash for at least 3-4 times or at every nappy change. Do not use Happynap Cream 15 gm over large areas, raw skin and blisters. Do not go near naked flames since the fabric that comes in contact with Happynap Cream 15 gm may burn easily. Washing the fabric may decrease the risk, but it does not remove the product completely. Please consult your doctor if you are pregnant or planning to conceive before using Happynap Cream 15 gm.  Store the product below 25°C and do not freeze.

Drug-Disease Interaction: Before using Happynap Cream 15 gm, let your doctor know if there is any history of liver or kidney diseases and any skin infections.

• Use mild soap while taking baths and prefer warm baths.

• Avoid harsh products on your skin.

• Do not scratch or pick your skin to avoid getting the affected area infected.

• Manage stress, eat healthily, drink plenty of water, exercise regularly and get plenty of sleep.

• Do not walk barefoot at places like gym showers to prevent contagious skin infections.

• Change timely the diapers of your baby even if they are soiled or not to prevent any irritation on the baby's skin.

• Avoid frequent use of diapers and use them only if they are required. Keep the area dry and clean. 

• Check the diaper frequently if the baby has a rash and change it as soon as it is wet or soiled. 

• It is advised not to use airtight rubber pants over the diaper area. Cloth-like disposable diapers promote better air circulation than plastic-type diapers and keep the area moist free.

Diaper rash: It is an inflammatory reaction localized to skin areas usually covered by the diaper. It is seen as a patchwork of bright red skin on your baby's buttocks. Diaper rashes occur equally with cloth diapers and disposable diapers. Diaper rash may also occur due to wet nappies, not changing the diapers frequently, diarrhoea, new foods, and antibiotics. In severe cases, it may also cause symptoms, such as fever and widely spread rash.
