Iodolan 1% Gargle

Iodolan 1% Gargle is an antiseptic and disinfectant used to treat a sore throat. It also treats and prevents infections of the mouth and throat lining, such as gingivitis (inflammation of the gums) and mouth ulcers. Iodolan 1% Gargle is also used to cleanse the mouth for preparation of the oral mucosa before any injection, dental surgery or tooth extraction.

Iodolan 1% Gargle contains Povidone iodine. It works by inhibiting the growth of infection-causing microbes. It is effective against bacteria, fungi, viruses, and protozoa.

Iodolan 1% Gargle may cause common side effects, such as mouth or throat irritation, dryness of the mouth and throat, and a burning sensation. These side effects gradually resolve over time and do not require medical attention. However, if the side effects persist longer, please seek medical help.
