Revodine Gargle is an antiseptic and disinfectant used to treat a sore throat. It also treats and prevents infections of the mouth and throat lining, such as gingivitis (inflammation of the gums) and mouth ulcers. Revodine Gargle is also used to cleanse the mouth for preparation of the oral mucosa before any injection, dental surgery or tooth extraction.
Revodine Gargle contains Povidone iodine, which works by killing harmful microbes and reducing inflammation. It supports quicker healing, alleviates pain, and helps prevent further infection.
Revodine Gargle may cause common side effects, such as mouth or throat irritation, dryness of the mouth and throat, and a burning sensation. These side effects gradually resolve over time and do not require medical attention. However, if the side effects persist longer, please seek medical help.

Revodine Gargle is an antiseptic and disinfectant that inhibits the growth of infection-causing microbes. As a small molecule, Iodine in Revodine Gargle can easily penetrate into microorganisms and oxidise essential proteins, nucleotides, and fatty acids, leading to cell death.
Revodine Gargle is not recommended for use if you are undergoing any lithium therapy or treatment involving radioactive iodine. Revodine Gargle should not be used before or after radioiodine scintigraphy or radioiodine treatment of thyroid carcinoma.
