Karvifer Softgel Capsule 15's belongs to a class of medications called 'haematinics' used to treat anaemia (lack of blood) due to iron deficiency and chronic kidney disease. You are not recommended to take Karvifer Softgel Capsule 15's with phenytoin as co-administration of these two medicines may reduce the concentration of Karvifer Softgel Capsule 15's in blood and increase the risk of seizures (fits). However, please consult a doctor before taking Karvifer Softgel Capsule 15's with phenytoin.

Karvifer Softgel Capsule 15's should be used with caution in patients suffering from stomach ulcers as it may worsen the condition. Therefore, it is advised to inform your doctor if you have an ulcer before taking Karvifer Softgel Capsule 15's.

Karvifer Softgel Capsule 15's may turn stools to black colour. It is a common side effect of Karvifer Softgel Capsule 15's and is not harmful.
