Drug-Drug Interaction: FERROUS ASCORBATE may have interaction with anticonvulsants (phenytoin), antibiotics (chloramphenicol, levofloxacin, ciprofloxacin, doxycycline, minocycline), bisphosphonates (alendronate), medicines used to lower high blood pressure (methyldopa), thyroid medicine (levothyroxine), antiparkinsonian agent (levodopa).
Drug-Food Interaction: Avoid intake of dairy products, coffee or tea with FERROUS ASCORBATE at the same time as they may reduce the absorption of FERROUS ASCORBATE.
