About L-Fol 1Mg Chew Tablet

L-Fol 1Mg Chew Tablet is used to treat or prevent anemia (lack of blood) caused by folic acid deficiency, anaemia in pregnancy, anaemia due to damaged red blood cells, anaemia in kidney dialysis patients. Anemia is a condition in which the body does not have enough red blood cells to carry adequate oxygen to various body tissues.

L-Fol 1Mg Chew Tablet contains Folic acid (a form of vitamin B9) that increases healthy red blood cell (RBC) production in the body and carries oxygen throughout the body.

You may experience certain side effects like nausea, black stool, constipation, loss of appetite, bloating or flatulence (gas) in some cases. Most of these side effects of L-Fol 1Mg Chew Tablet do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.

If you are allergic to L-Fol 1Mg Chew Tablet or any other medicines, please tell your doctor. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, consult a doctor before using L-Fol 1Mg Chew Tablet . L-Fol 1Mg Chew Tablet should be used with caution in children and only if recommended by a doctor. What if you forget to take L-Fol 1Mg Chew Tablet

If you miss a dose of L-Fol 1Mg Chew Tablet , take it as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and continue with the regular dosing schedule. Do not take a double dose to make up for the missed dose.

  • If you are allergic to L-Fol 1Mg Chew Tablet or any other medicines, please tell your doctor.
  • Avoid taking L-Fol 1Mg Chew Tablet if you have cancer.

  • Inform your doctor if you are allergic to any sugars as L-Fol 1Mg Chew Tablet contains lactose.

L-Fol 1Mg Chew Tablet may cause bloating as a mild and temporary side effect. You are advised to eat and drink slowly, eat smaller and more frequent meals, and exercise regularly to avoid bloating. However, if the condition persists or worsens, please consult a doctor.
