Lacryl Gentle 0.3% Eye Gel is used to treat dry eye disease and in eye surgeries. Dry eye disease is a common condition that occurs if you don't produce enough tears or if you produce poor-quality tears. This tear instability leads to inflammation and damage to the eye's surface.

Lacryl Gentle 0.3% Eye Gel contains Hypromellose, which works by increasing tear viscosity in the eye. In this way, it provides temporary relief from burning and discomfort.

Some minor side effects are blurred vision, eye pain, a foreign body sensation in the eyes, eye irritation, and eye redness. If these persist, consult your doctor.

• Eye Moisturizer: Lacryl Gentle 0.3% Eye Gel acts as an eye moisturizer, helping to maintain the natural moisture balance of the eyes.
• Contact Lens Lubricant: Lacryl Gentle 0.3% Eye Gel can serve as a lubricant for contact lenses, thereby reducing friction and discomfort.
• Surgical Use: Lacryl Gentle 0.3% Eye Gel is used to lubricate and protect the eyes during procedures like gonioscopy, reducing discomfort and risk of corneal damage.

• Use Lacryl Gentle 0.3% Eye Gel three times daily; however, follow your doctor's advice regarding the dosage and duration.
• Lie down and tilt your head backwards. Gently pull your lower eyelid with your index finger to form a pocket. Instil the number of eye drops advised by the doctor into the pocket of the lower eyelid. Close your eyes for 1-2 minutes after instilling Lacryl Gentle 0.3% Eye Gel.
• Avoid touching the applicator tip. Always keep the bottle securely closed and upright when not in use to prevent contamination. Wash your hands before and after application.

• Do not use Lacryl Gentle 0.3% Eye Gel with contact lenses. If usage of contact lenses is allowed, remove them before administration of the medicine, and you can reinsert the contact lenses 10 to 15 minutes post-administration.
• Eye injection is administered during eye surgeries; your surgeon will give you appropriate instructions regarding the usage of contact lenses.
