Lamifin 1%W/W Cream 30gm belongs to a class of drugs called antifungals primarily used to treat fungal infections of the skin such as ringworm, jock itch, and athlete’s foot. Fungal infection is a skin disease in which a fungus attacks the tissue and cause infection. Fungal infections may be contagious (spread from one person to another).
Lamifin 1%W/W Cream 30gm contains Terbinafine hydrochloride, an antifungal that works by damaging the fungal cell membranes which are essential for their survival as they prevent the entry of unwanted substances into the cells and stop the leakage of cell contents. Thereby, kills fungi and clears the fungal infection.
Lamifin 1%W/W Cream 30gm is only for external use. Use Lamifin 1%W/W Cream 30gm as advised by the doctor. Avoid contact of Lamifin 1%W/W Cream 30gm with nose, mouth, or eyes. In case Lamifin 1%W/W Cream 30gm comes in contact with these areas accidentally, rinse with water thoroughly. Some people may experience side effects like itching, irritation, or skin peeling. Most of these side effects of Lamifin 1%W/W Cream 30gm do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.

Lamifin 1%W/W Cream 30gm causes holes in the fungal cell membranes and kills fungi. Thereby, clears fungal infection and provides relief from cracking, burning, scaling and itching of the skin caused due to infections.
If you experience severe skin itching with raised lumps, red rash or blisters, stop using Lamifin 1%W/W Cream 30gm and consult a doctor immediately. If you are pregnant or a nursing mother, it is advised to consult a doctor before using Lamifin 1%W/W Cream 30gm. Avoid smoking or going near naked flames as the fabric (bedding, clothing, dressings) that is in contact with Lamifin 1%W/W Cream 30gm catches fire and burns easily which is a serious fire hazard. If someone swallows Lamifin 1%W/W Cream 30gm accidentally, go to the nearest hospital emergency department or consult your doctor immediately as it may cause symptoms such as stomach pain, dizziness, nausea, and headache.
