About Lexical-D3 Tablet
Lexical-D3 Tablet is used to treat low calcium levels in conditions such as vitamin D deficiency, osteoporosis (weak bones), hypoparathyroidism (low levels of parathyroid hormone), and latent tetany (a muscle disease with low blood calcium levels).
Lexical-D3 Tablet consists of calcium orotate and vitamin D3, which help maintain blood calcium and phosphorus levels and support bone mineralisation.
Take Lexical-D3 Tablet as advised by your doctor. Sometimes, it may cause side effects like constipation and stomach upset. These side effects do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time.
Do not take Lexical-D3 Tablet if you are allergic to any ingredient in it. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should consult their doctor before taking Lexical-D3 Tablet . Do not use Lexical-D3 Tablet if you have kidney problems/stones or have a high vitamin D level in your blood.

Lexical-D3 Tablet is used for the treatment of Osteoporosis, Osteomalacia (Rickets), Vitamin D deficiency, Hypoparathyroidism, and Latent tetany.
Lexical-D3 Tablet consists of Calcium orotate and Vitamin D3. Calcium orotate is a mineral that prevents or treats calcium deficiency. Vitamin D3 (Cholecalciferol) helps maintain blood calcium and phosphorus levels and mineralisation of bone. When you don't get enough Vitamin D from food sources and sunlight exposure, Lexical-D3 Tablet helps replenish those low levels.
Milk is considered to be the best source of calcium. You can take Lexical-D3 Tablet with milk.
Lexical-D3 Tablet is used to increase low levels of calcium in the body. Hence, it is not advised to use Lexical-D3 Tablet if you have hypercalcaemia since it causes an overdose of calcium, leading to kidney stones and other effects.
Antacids may increase the absorption of Calcium from Lexical-D3 Tablet . Hence, it is advised to take Lexical-D3 Tablet one hour before or two hours after taking antacids.
The food sources of Vitamin D include fatty fish like salmon, mackerel, and tuna. Cod liver oil has a lot of vitamin D, as do egg yolks, beef liver, and fortified foods like milk, orange juice, and cereals. Sun-exposed mushrooms are another source of vitamin D.
