Lyoflora Capsule

Lyoflora Capsule is used to treat and prevent diarrhoea, including rotaviral diarrhoea in children. Lyoflora Capsule may also be used for acne, antibiotic-associated diarrhoea, Clostridium difficile-associated diarrhoea, Helicobacter pylori infection, traveller’s diarrhoea, diarrhoea in people with HIV/AIDS, and necrotising enterocolitis (a severe intestinal disease in premature infants).

Lyoflora Capsule contains Saccharomyces boulardii, a friendly micro-organism that helps fight disease-causing organisms in the gut, such as yeast and bacteria. Thereby, Lyoflora Capsule helps in treating diarrhoea. Lyoflora Capsule helps restore the balance of intestinal bacterial flora, strengthening immunity and overall gut health.

You are advised to take Lyoflora Capsule for as long as your doctor has recommended, depending on your medical condition. Lyoflora Capsule is generally safe and does not cause any side effects. Sometimes, it may cause gas, bloating, and constipation. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time.
