Description

Melawash face wash is specially designed for hyperpigmented skin. Also, it prepares skin for the treatment of melasma (brown patches on the face) by helping in better penetration of the treatment cream that is to be applied later.

Directions for Use

Check the label for directions before use. Wet your face with water and squeeze out the required quantity of Melawash onto the palm. Rub to form lather and massage gently on your face and neck with an upward circular motion. Rinse thoroughly with water and pat dry.

Melawash face wash reduces the formation of melanin (skin pigment) in melanocytes (skin cells that produce and contain melanin pigment) by inhibiting the tyrosinase enzyme. Also, it helps in exfoliating dead skin and brings an immediate glow to the skin.

Melawash face wash may cause a slight tingling sensation. It is normal and will fade after some time. However, if the irritation persists or worsens, discontinue use and consult a doctor.

Melasma cannot be cured completely. It can only be managed by using certain precautions, such as using sunscreens and sunglasses while going out in the sun.

Sun exposure does not trigger melasma, but it may increase the severity of melasma. Therefore, it is recommended to wear sunglasses, hat and use sunscreen with SPF 50.
