About Movicol Paediatric Sachet

Movicol Paediatric Sachet is used for the treatment of chronic constipation in children aged 1 to 11 years and faecal impaction in children aged 5 to 11 years.

Movicol Paediatric Sachet works by drawing water into the intestine, softening stools, and making them easier to pass. It also helps replenish electrolyte levels.

Movicol Paediatric Sachet may cause common side effects such as stomach pain, stomach rumblings, diarrhoea, nausea, or vomiting. If the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.

If your child is allergic to Movicol Paediatric Sachet or any other medicines, please tell your doctor. If your child has ulcerative colitis or Crohn’s disease, do not give Movicol Paediatric Sachet. Your child should continue to take plenty of fluids while taking Movicol Paediatric Sachet.

  • Movicol Paediatric Sachet should be given to your child with or without food.

  • Dissolve the contents of the sachet in a quarter glass of water to form a solution, and give it to your child to drink.
  • If your child cannot drink it immediately, store the reconstituted solution in the refrigerator (2°C to 8°C).
