Nasivion 0.025% Paediatric Nasal Drops is used for temporary relief from nasal congestion (stuffy nose) caused by hay fever (allergic rhinitis), common colds, flu, sinusitis, or other allergic sinusitis in children. Nasal congestion, a stuffy nose, occurs when nasal passages become swollen with excess mucus and fluid.

Nasivion 0.025% Paediatric Nasal Drops contains Oxymetazoline Hydrochloride, a nasal decongestant that works by contracting and narrowing the blood vessels in the linings of the nasal passages. Thus, Nasivion 0.025% Paediatric Nasal Drops provides relief from congestion and decreases mucus production.

The common side effects are irritation/dryness of the nasal mucosa, local burning sensation, headache, and nausea.
