Procyte HP Capsule belongs to the class of probiotics used to treat conditions such as diarrhoea, irritable bowel syndrome, and antibiotic-associated diarrhoea. Diarrhoea is a condition characterised by loose and watery stools with a frequent need to have a bowel movement. An irritable bowel syndrome is a group of intestinal symptoms that occur together. 

Procyte HP Capsule is a combination of probiotics (live strains of bacteria that keeps the body healthy) and prebiotics (types of fibre that act as food for friendly bacteria). Procyte HP Capsule helps to restore good bacteria in the intestines. Thereby, it prevents diarrhoea and loss of beneficial bacteria due to prolonged intake of antibiotics or infections in the intestine. 

Take Procyte HP Capsule as prescribed by your doctor. You are advised to take Procyte HP Capsule for as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you based on your medical condition. In some cases, you may experience fever, nausea, soft stools, bloating, flatulence (gas) or stomach cramps. Most of these side effects of Procyte HP Capsule do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.

The detailed uses of Procyte HP Capsule are as follows:<br/>• Treatment of diarrhea: Procyte HP Capsule is used in the treatment of diarrhea.<br/>• Treatment of Inflammatory Bowel Disease: Procyte HP Capsule may help alleviate symptoms of IBS and IBD (Irritable Bowel Syndrome and Inflammatory Bowel Disease).<br/>• Restores healthy gut flora: Procyte HP Capsule is used to restore healthy gut flora after antibiotic use or infections.<br/>• Reduces symptoms: Procyte HP Capsule reduces bloating, gas, and indigestion symptoms.<br/>

Directions for Use

• Procyte HP Capsule should be taken with or immediately after a meal/food to maximise its effectiveness.• Generally, it is recommended to be taken once a day. However, follow your doctor's instructions regarding dosage and timing for optimal results. • Swallow Procyte HP Capsule as a whole with a glass of water. • Do not crush, chew, or break it.

What if I have taken an overdose of Procyte HP Capsule

When taken in excess, Procyte HP Capsule is not known to have any harmful side effects. However, do not take more than the recommended dose. If you suspect you have taken an overdose of Procyte HP Capsule , seek emergency medical help.

Procyte HP Capsule works by restoring good bacteria in the intestines. Thereby, prevents diarrhoea and loss of beneficial bacteria due to prolonged intake of antibiotics or due to infections in the intestine.

You are not recommended to take Procyte HP Capsule with ketoconazole or other antifungals as it may decrease the effectiveness of Procyte HP Capsule . However, please consult a doctor before taking Procyte HP Capsule with other medicines.

You are recommended to use Procyte HP Capsule for as long as your doctor has prescribed it. However, if the condition persists for more than 2 days or worsens with blood in stools or fever, please consult a doctor.

You are recommended to maintain a time gap of a minimum of 2 to 3 hours between taking Procyte HP Capsule and antibiotics as taking them together at the same time may decrease the effectiveness of Procyte HP Capsule .
