Prostonil Capsule

Prostonil capsule is indicated for the treatment for enlarged prostate. Prostonil comprises a lipid extract of Serenoa Repens, which has long been used as a treatment for urinary dysfunction caused by benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) or prostate enlargement. Benign prostatic hyperplasia is the enlargement of the prostate gland that can make urinating difficult.

• Lipid extract of Serenoa Repens is the key ingredient in the Prostonil capsule, and it effectively treats symptoms of Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia Stage I and Stage II.
• It improves urine flow by reducing the size of the prostate gland.
• It significantly improves urination at night time (nocturia).
• It does not cause erectile dysfunction or low libido.
• Unlike other medications, it does not cause postural hypotension (low BP due to posture change).

Take Prostonil capsule in the dose and duration as per the packing leaflet (One capsule twice a day) or as prescribed by your doctor. Swallow the capsule as a whole with a glass of water. Please do not take more than the daily recommended dosage.

Before starting the medication, let your doctor know if you have liver, kidney or heart problems and other pre-existing medical conditions. If you experience any unusual symptoms or allergic reactions whilst taking the medicine, please discontinue the use and consult your doctor immediately. Let your doctor know if you have any surgery scheduled before starting the medication. Inform your doctor in advance if you are pregnant, planning to conceive or breastfeeding. If you feel dizzy/sleepy while using this medicine, it is advised to avoid driving and operating machinery until you feel better. Limit or avoid alcohol intake while using this medicine to minimize interactions and occurrence of side effects. Keep the medicine out of reach of children and pets. Store in a cool, dry place, protected from moisture, heat, and direct sunlight.
