About Psoraflake Ointment

Psoraflake Ointment is used to treat skin conditions like psoriasis. It may also be used for neurodermatitis, hyperkeratotic skin conditions, cracked heels and keratoderma. Psoriasis is a skin disorder in which skin cells multiply up to 10 times faster than usual, leading to skin build-up into bumpy (uneven) red patches covered with white scales.

Psoraflake Ointment is composed of Salicylic acid and coal tar. Salicylic acid increases skin moisture and dissolves the substance that causes skin cells to stick together. Coal tar removes dead cells from the skin’s top layer and slows the growth of skin cells.
