About Rashnil Ointment 30gm

Rashnil Ointment 30gm is a dermatological antiseptic medication, primarily used to treat and prevent diaper rash and other rashes caused due to tight clothing. Rashnil Ointment 30gm promotes the healing of chapped skin and diaper rash. Diaper rash is an inflammatory reaction which is localized to skin areas usually covered by the diaper.

Rashnil Ointment 30gm contains Benzalkonium and Zinc oxide. Benzalkonium is used as an antiseptic, disinfectant and antimicrobial preservative. It has antimicrobial properties against bacteria, fungi and viruses. It prevents skin infections. Zinc oxide is a mild antiseptic that works by forming a barrier on the skin to protect it from moisture and irritants. It is used as a protective coating for mild skin irritations and abrasions. Rashnil Ointment 30gm works by inhibiting the growth of infection-causing microbes.

Rashnil Ointment 30gm is for external use only. Rashnil Ointment 30gm has common side effects as every medicine does. These include local itchiness, redness and irritation at the application site. It is a mineral that treats diaper rash, chapped skin and skin irritations. When applied to the skin, it forms a barrier to protect it from moisture and irritants. Thus, it acts as a protective coating for mild skin irritations and abrasions.

Directions for Use

Take the advised amount with clean and dry hands and apply it on the skin's affected areas. Wash your hands before and after using. Do not cover the affected areas unless the doctor advises you. For diaper rash, apply the cream on the affected areas for at least 3-4 times or at every nappy change.

Do not use Rashnil Ointment 30gm over large areas, raw skin and blisters. Do not go near naked flames since the fabric that comes in contact with Rashnil Ointment 30gm may burn easily. Washing the fabric may decrease the risk, but it does not remove the product completely.
