Redulid HB Capsule is used to treat anaemia (lack of blood) that occurs due to iron deficiency and chronic kidney disease. Also, Redulid HB Capsule is used to treat anaemia during pregnancy and lactation.

Redulid HB Capsule is a combination of elemental iron, folic acid and glycine. Elemental iron and folic acid work by increasing red blood cell (RBC) and haemoglobin (a protein) production in the body. Glycine is used to synthesise proteins in the body.

In some cases, you may experience vomiting, nausea, stomach upset, or dark-colored stool. Most of these side effects of Redulid HB Capsule do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.

If you are allergic to Redulid HB Capsule or any other medicines, please tell your doctor. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, consult a doctor before using Redulid HB Capsule . Redulid HB Capsule should be used with caution in children and only if recommended by a doctor.

You are not recommended to take Redulid HB Capsule with phenytoin as co-administration of these two medicines may reduce the concentration of Redulid HB Capsule in blood and increase the risk of seizures (fits). However, please consult a doctor before taking Redulid HB Capsule with phenytoin.

Redulid HB Capsule is not recommended for patients with hemochromatosis (excessive iron in the body) as it may increase the risk of adverse effects. Therefore, it is advised to inform your doctor if you have any iron overload conditions before taking Redulid HB Capsule .

Iron in Redulid HB Capsule may turn the stools black. It is a common side effect of Redulid HB Capsule and is not harmful.
